NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Operation Stand Down Tennessee says it’s losing money as it continues to serve veterans who vitally need their services. The nonprofit is a recipient of the United Way’s COVID-19 Response Fund, and it’s using the money to keep the doors open. Operation Stand Down Tennessee CEO John Krenson said many of the grants they receive only apply if they see veterans face to face. With social distancing in place, that’s difficult.
