CINCINNATI (WKRC) – If there’s a lady in your life who serves in the U. S. military, Wednesday is a special day to honor her service. February 19 is ‘National Vet Girls Rock Day. ‘Nearly two million women have served the U. S. in its various military branches: Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps. Here’s something you may not have known, during the Civil War, more than 400 women disguised themselves as men in order to fight.
