Middle Tennessee veterans, including 100-year-old WWII vet, take Honor Flight to D.C.

Some of the nation’s bravest men and women took to the skies Tuesday morning for the Honor Flight from Nashville to D. C. Veterans from WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War are making the trip the America’s Capitol to pay their respects to fallen soldiers, all thanks to the non-profit. Honor Flight of Middle Tennessee. A 100-year-old WWII veteran from Tullahoma, a WWII POW and female Navy Korean War veteran were among those flying out Tuesday.
