Middle Tennessee veterans and community members are honoring the service and ultimate sacrifice of a local United States Army Green Beret killed in action in Afghanistan. Sergeant First Class Jeremy W. Griffin’s home town is listed as Greenbrier, Tennessee. Tucked just off of Highway 41 S in Robertson County, a group of local veterans catch up at American Legion Post 45. The group is bonded by their shared military service, including the small town’s police chief.
