Thousands of Vietnam War U.S. Navy veterans who say they were exposed to Agent Orange via their drinking water while at sea have been fighting the federal government and Department of Veterans Affairs for 15 years for disability benefits. In North Carolina, two former sailors suffer from ischemic heart disease, an illness known to be associated with dioxin, a chemical found in Agent Orange.
